Where do I get a STATE Fishing license?

A North Carolina Fishng License is required for individuals 16 years of age or more. A fishing license is required to fish any public water in North Carolina. The State of North Carolina requires seperate licenses to be purchased for inland and salt water fishing. When fishing with a licensed captain or guide in saltwater no licensing is needed. Please visit the North Carolina Wildlife Resources comission for more information and to purchase your license.

Do I need to bring my own gear?

No, we provide standard gear such as rods and reels so you don’t need to worry about anything. But please feel free to bring you own gear if you prefer.
